Ok, was asked for my 5 favorite and least favorite songs from 1993. Now, I'm not sure if that means at the time (which would be embarrassing and luckily impossible) or retrospectively. So we'll go with the latter. 1993. I was nine.
Five Favorite
Nirvana-Heart Shaped Box (though they could probably have all 5, with the release of In Utero, but this is my favorite, followed closely by All Apologies)
Radiohead-Creep
Flaming Lips-She Don't Use Jelly (Also was one of my favorite songs IN 1993)
Pearl Jam-Daughter
And, I'd probably still go back to Ace of Base. Can't deny that shit, soundtrack to my life in fifth grade. Those were simpler times.
Least Favorite
Lenny Kravitz-Are You Gonna Go My Way
Anything Rage Against the Machine did that year
Whoomp There it is
Meat Loaf-I'd do anything for love (gross.)
Gin Blossoms-Hey Jealousy
Embarassing THings I liked back then:
Any Ace of Base Song
Salt-n-Pepa-Shoop
Aerosmith-Cryin'
Robyn-Show Me Love
Cranberries-Linger
Counting Crows-Mr. Jones

I'm glad I forced you into this. I believe you should accede to Austin's wishes and do one for every year of your life now. Thanks. :-)
This makes me feel a lot better about my musical mistakes as a teenage girl. Love that Robyn was on the list... who knew you once had a softer, Euro-pop side?
